Hi there! I’m so excited that you found my website and am excited about the possibility of getting to work with you. Ifme you’re looking to repair your relationship with food and figure out a lifestyle that will keep you healthy for life – this is it.

I primarily work with women (mostly moms) who are everyday people looking to find a love of working out, eating healthy and creating a mindset that makes failing a thing of the past.

Let me share my story.

I grew up in the teeny, tiny town of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. I was never overweight as a child which made it easy to make poor food choices. I ate fast-food at least once per day and didn’t exercise past high school. After graduation and beginning full-time work, the pattern of fast-food continued except it grew into a relationship of self-sabotage by emotional eating. If I stressed, I could put away an entire pizza all by myself and then hide the box in the bottom of the trash can so Shawn wouldn’t know.

Fast forward a few years to the birth of my first son, Jake. Even with my pregnancy, I was still wearing size large bottoms from the regular women’s section of the store. I continued with my poor eating patterns and when he was born, the weight stuck around. I was wearing my husband’s jeans well into his first two years of life. Then along came Sam, and although we were eating more at home, we weren’t eating much healthier. After his birth, the weight had crept up even more.

One night I was watching the Biggest Loser on TV (I know, so cliche’) where I watched these amazing people work there bumms off while I was sitting on the couch and watching. I wanted to be like them. I wanted to be strong, fit and lean. I wanted to be around for me boys as long as possible. So I began working out in my basement with Jillian Michaels 🙂

As I shifted my focus to fitness, not only did my body start to improve but I felt amazing. Feeling strong but me in1461770_10202946016359694_1360702671_n control and lit a fire inside like nothing ever had. I wanted to show others, that they too, could find the power to change their lives through fitness, and I began to immediately educate myself on food and fitness.

In the years since I’ve become a fitness pro, I’ve learned a lot about self-love, creating a business, empowerment, becoming resourceful and doing what it takes to just go for it. I’ve failed, I’ve ended relationships and have had a couple experiences that made me want to give up on fitness.

BUT, true change doesn’t come with throwing in the towel and I quickly figured out that fitness was indeed my passion.

The journey won’t be without bumps in the road but it will be one filled with gratitude for the struggle. I’ll be here to cheer you on, to push you when needed and to tell you to rest when needed.
